A highly respected main dealer in the Brighton area is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join its successful and busy Service Department.

The Role

• Manage workshop efficiency, productivity and technician utilisation
• Control the distribution and allocation of job cards
• Operate the workshop loading system effectively
• Allocate jobs to the most suitable Technicians
• Monitor job progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure job cards and workshop administration are completed accurately
• Check completed jobs and ensure all labour is correctly documented
• Liaise with Service, Warranty and Administration teams
• Identify additional work and upselling opportunities
• Maintain high standards of customer service and workshop performance

About You

• Proven experience as a Workshop Controller within a main dealer
• Strong understanding of workshop processes and technician productivity
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Professional, proactive and commercially aware
• Strong team player with the ability to use your own initiative
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
