Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership | Medway

Basic Salary: Up to £37,000 D.O.E. + Bonus & Benefits
Monday to Friday – No Saturdays!
My client is a busy and established main dealer in Medway looking for a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join their experienced workshop team.
They’re open-minded when it comes to background, so main dealer experience is not essential. If you’re currently working within an independent garage and are looking to take your first step into a main dealership, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs, including brakes, exhausts and general mechanical work.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect vehicle engines, mechanical components and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Use diagnostic equipment to investigate and repair vehicle faults.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair work, including time and parts required.
- Keep the Service Team fully informed of vehicle progress and any additional work required.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues identified.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer and dealership procedures.
Key Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Own tools – desirable.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
