MOT tester required for busy dealership

Salary: £34,000 + OTE £40,000
My client is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy New & Used Car Dealership in Gatwick.
Duties
- Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA testing standards
- Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring all tools are kept in good condition
- Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed correctly
- Completing all documentation to the required standard
- Ensuring all work is carried out accurately and to a high standard
Essential skills and experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as an MOT Tester
- Full and clean MOT testing record
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Ability to maintain equipment and tools
- Able to carry out procedures and checks to a high standard
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Good knowledge of MOT testing standards and procedures
