Commercial Vehicle Technician – Sittingbourne
£32,000 Basic + £42,000 OTE | Monday–Friday | No Saturdays
Are you an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a new challenge with a reputable main dealer?
Our client is expanding their busy commercial workshop and is looking for a skilled Technician to join their professional team.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches and exhausts
- Use modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation
- Ensure vehicles meet DVSA safety standards
- Work closely with the Service Advisor and wider workshop team
About You
- Level 3 NVQ / IMI Motor Vehicle qualification or equivalent
- Commercial vehicle experience preferred, but strong car/light vehicle backgrounds will be considered
- Full UK driving licence
- Good diagnostic skills and a proactive attitude
- Own tools desirable
